Transadvisory Legal continues growth by welcoming three new associates

Transadvisory Legal is a dynamic law firm established in Abuja in 2021 with a vision to become one of Nigeria’s premier legal service providers. Looking to the future, it has announced the addition of ‘three exceptional associates’
The strategic addition of Timothy Nworie, Miriam Anyanwu, and Ibrahim Zubair as new associates significantly strengthens Transadvisory Legal’s capacity across key practice areas, and enables the dynamic Nigerian law firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions while maintaining its commitment to excellence and client service.
“This strategic expansion reflects the firm’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young, vibrant legal talent and redefining what it means to be a modern, forward-thinking law firm in the African context,” says Transadvisory Legal. “At the heart of Transadvisory Legal’s philosophy is the belief that excellence in legal advisory goes beyond interpreting the law. It requires vision, innovation, and a deep understanding of the economic and policy realities in which clients operate.”
As a 21st-century practice, Transadvisory Legal continues to bridge the gap between traditional legal services and strategic partnerships. Its approach prioritizes technically sound, commercially viable solutions aligned with long-term client goals.
The firm views legal challenges not just as problems to solve, but opportunities to advance client objectives, Managing Partner Rilwan Idris told Africa Legal earlier this year. “Our commitment to building long-term relationships based on trust, reliability, and exceptional service makes us a trusted partner for varied clients with Nigerian and international interests, who seek robust, innovative, and strategic legal support.”
By investing in the next generation of lawyers, Transadvisory Legal is strengthening its capacity to deliver cutting-edge legal support across key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, finance, capital markets, and dispute resolution. The new associates each bring a strong academic background, practical experience, and the agility to navigate the evolving legal and regulatory landscape in Nigeria and across Africa.
Timothy joins Transadvisory Legal with expertise in dispute resolution, real estate, and project finance, and provides integrated legal solutions that combine rigorous legal analysis with practical, bespoke outcomes. Miriam is passionate about bridging law, policy, and social transformation, with particular interests in energy regulation, human rights, and commercial law reform. She brings a multidisciplinary focus, and has also undertaken specialised training in arbitration and regulatory compliance.
Ibrahim contributes to Transadvisory Legal’s energy, corporate advisory, environmental, and international law practices. Having graduated from University of Reading, he brings a global outlook and solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, policy advisory, and sustainable legal solutions across sectors.
“These appointments reinforce Transadvisory Legal’s position as a firm anchored in legal excellence but equally driven by innovation, growth, and relevance,” says the firm, which continues to build a legal practice that “reflects the dynamism of its clients, one that is adaptable and future-focused”.
