New Africa-focused global firm Parsons adds talented young lawyers Adeyemi Ayeku and Fiyinfoluwa Adeosun

In late July, senior lawyers Dr Gabriel Onagoruwa and Gregory Kahn co-founded global law firm Parsons, with offices in Nigeria, London, and UAE. The growing firm has now brought in Nigerian rising star Adeyemi Ayeku and newly admitted Fiyinfoluwa Adeosun as associates
With an ethos of every new colleague adding to the richness of their recently founded firm’s story, Africa-focused global law firm Parsons has today welcomed talented young Nigerian practitioners Adeyemi Ayeku and Fiyinfoluwa Adeosun as associates.
“Adeyemi brings with him a strong foundation in financings and experience advising sovereigns, financial institutions, and project sponsors on complex transactions,” says the firm. “His academic and professional track record speaks for itself, and we are confident he will make a meaningful contribution to our work across markets.”
A first-class honours graduate of the University of Ibadan who won the Honorable Justice J.O. Shofolahan Prize for the Best Student in Corporate Law Practice at the Nigerian Law School in 2020, Adeyemi is a rising star who is recognised for his ability to structure innovative transactions, negotiate strategically, and provide commercially astute advice that consistently advances his clients’ objectives.
Prior to joining Parsons, Adeyemi was an associate for three years at leading African firm ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode. He also honed his early legal craft at top firms Jackson, Etti & Edu and Famsville Solicitors (now rebranded as Moroom Africa).
Adeyemi’s practice at Parsons will span project finance, secured lending, and mergers & acquisitions, with deal experience across key sectors including banking, oil & gas, telecommunications, and fintech. “Adeyemi is a dynamic corporate finance attorney,” says the firm, whose “approachable manner and solution-oriented mindset make him a trusted adviser and a pleasure to work with for clients and colleagues.”
Speaking with Africa Legal ahead of the launch of their ambitious global firm, co-founders Dr Gabriel Onagoruwa and Gregory Kahn said Africa is not a frontier but a core part of the global economy. “We are building a firm that does more than navigate the law,” said Dr Onagoruwa, “We help shape the future of transformative projects. We are partners in progress, committed to unlocking opportunity through legal excellence, commercial acumen, and deep regional insight.”
Today, Parsons was also delighted to welcome newly qualified Nigerian lawyer Fiyinfoluwa Adeosun as an associate. Before attending the Nigerian Law School, Fiyinfoluwa was President of the The Tax Club at Obafemi Awolowo University, and Director of Programs at the Nigeria Association of Students of Taxation and Allied Courses.
Beyond transactional work, Fiyinfoluwa has contributed to international policy projects and remains actively engaged in thought-leadership initiatives that promote innovation and growth in Africa’s legal and business landscape. She is passionate about building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and is known for her warm, collaborative style and commitment to delivering excellence.
“We are excited to see the value she will add to our growing practice and the perspectives she brings to our international platform,” said the firm today.
