One Africa, One Standard: Moroom Africa launched today alongside proprietary digital platform

Famsville Solicitors, a leading Nigerian law firm with pan-African reach, has today become Moroom Africa, and unveiled Moroom Technology, a proprietary digital platform that supports clients all across the continent without relying on physical offices
Today’s launch of Moroom Africa marks a bold step in redefining how African law firms operate, enabling seamless delivery of world-class legal solutions across every jurisdiction, says Dayo Adu, Managing Partner of the Lagos-headquartered firm.
Committed to its guiding principle of ‘One Africa, One Standard’, Moroom Africa (formerly Famsville Solicitors, a Nigerian firm with pan-African reach) has also announced its proprietary digital platform Moroom Technology, which enables real-time updates, secure collaboration, and regulatory intelligence across borders.
Speaking with Africa Legal ahead of today’s launch, visionary legal entrepreneur Adu said that Famsville had given the firm a strong foundation, but their ambitions outgrew a single office or jurisdiction, and Moroom Africa signals our next chapter, a pan-African platform built to deliver borderless, tech-enabled legal solutions.
“The name ‘Moroom’ evokes room for more, forward movement, and room to grow,” he says. “For us, it’s all about creating space for our people, our clients, and for a borderless continent to do their best legal work across Africa without the limits of traditional firm models or brick-and-mortar offices. ‘Africa’ anchors us to the continent we serve and believe in.”
The proprietary Moroom Technology digital platform features a secure, cloud-based environment for matter management and client engagement, real-time updates and collaboration, regulatory compliance and tracking across African jurisdictions, and integrated knowledge and document management for consistent results.
The creation of the Moroom Technology digital platform grew out of frustrations with the old, brick-and-mortar model for law firms, Adu told Africa Legal.
“While clients are already global and digital; law firms are still siloed, slow and paper-bound,” continues Adu. “We asked ourselves, why shouldn’t a client in Lagos, Nairobi and London have the same seamless experience in one secure environment? Moroom Technology is our answer, born from years of client feedback, internal experimentation, and a desire to set a new standard.”
Adu, a globally recognised thought leader on investigations in Africa, says legal practice has evolved significantly during his nearly 20-year career.
“Modern lawyers must be tech-literate, commercially aware and collaborative. They must be able to interpret data, anticipate risk, and deliver advice in the same frictionless way their clients consume every other service. Technology doesn’t replace judgment; it amplifies it. The future belongs to lawyers who can combine deep legal expertise with digital fluency.”
Moroom Africa is doing just that with its proprietary digital platform.
Adu says Moroom Technology is the digital backbone of the rebranded firm. The goal is to provide clients with real-time updates, enable secure cross-border work by exceptional legal professionals, and provide regulatory intelligence across jurisdictions, as much as possible and all within one platform.
“For clients, that means faster turnaround, greater transparency, and seamless coverage without juggling multiple advisers,” he says. “For our people, it means smarter workflows, better knowledge-sharing, and freedom from repetitive tasks and the shift of focus towards strategy and innovation.”
As Adu sees it, Moroom Africa is building a platform for Africa’s next decade of growth. The firm’s mantra of ‘One Africa, One Standard’ means premium legal service delivery no matter the jurisdiction, and a culture that nurtures talent, and innovation across the continent. “We invite the African business community to join us in shaping what a truly pan-African, technology-enabled legal ecosystem can look like,” he says.
