KTA Advocates elevates Chrispus Mutabuza to partner among eight 'exceptional' promotions

Established in 2009, KTA Advocates is a leading firm in Uganda with expertise in Intellectual Property and Technology, Corporate & Commercial Law, and Dispute Resolution. A member of the Alliott Global Alliance, as it continues to expand its footprint it has announced the promotion of six legal and two support staff.

The promotions of “eight exceptional members” of the KTA Advocates team, including Chrispus Mutabuza from Associate Partner to Partner, reflect the hard work, specialised expertise, and unwavering commitment to client success that those individuals bring every day, said the leading Ugandan law firm.

Beyond the elevation of Mutabuza to Partner, the firm also celebrated the promotions of Norah Nakidde to Senior Associate and Ngoboka Innocent, Lutaaya Godfrey, Tracy Izabera Rubarema, and Owembabazi Braver to Associate. Alongside the legal staff promotions, Shamim Nakimera becomes Client Relationship Coordinator, while Charlene Murungi is now Executive PA to the Managing Partner as well as Regional Operations Coordinator/Human Resources Operations Support. 

A law graduate of Uganda Christian University, Mutabuza joined KTA Advocates as an Associate Partner in December 2023, after spending the first eight years of his legal career at Bashasha & Co. Advocates, a full service firm in Kenya and Uganda.
