Four ‘exceptional’ lawyers promoted to Director at DLA Piper Africa, Kenya

One of Kenya’s preeminent law firms, DLA Piper Africa, Kenya (IKM Advocates) traces its roots to 1987 but has its eyes firmly set on the future. Last week it announced six internal promotions including four exceptional Senior Associates to Legal Director

While the titles of John Mwangi, Christine Murangi, Samuel Gekara, and Tabitha Weru have changed, what brought them to their new positions has not, says DLA Piper, Kenya (IKM Advocates): “outstanding legal expertise, trusted client relationships, and a commitment to excellence that makes a difference every day”.

The four “exceptional” lawyers have each been promoted from Senior Associate to Legal Director, along with associates Rosemary Wahinya (Dispute Resolution) and Tesrah Wamache (Real Estate and Finance) being promoted to Senior Associate.

“We are proud to celebrate this important milestone with them,” said DLA Piper, Kenya, when sharing the news of the six lawyers’ “well-earned achievements”.
