ALP NG & Co promotes Atilolaoluwa Taiwo-Nsirim to partner and four lawyers to Managing Associate

The elevation of dispute resolution lawyer Atilolaoluwa Taiwo-Nsirim to partner marks an important step in her professional journey and reflects ALP NG & Co’s recognition of dedication, leadership, and excellence, says the Nigerian law firm. 

“Atilolaoluwa’s commitment to the firm and its values, key among which is the high standard of service that she consistently delivers to clients, is one of a myriad of reasons for her invitation to join the Board of Partners,” shared ALP NG & Co, noting her “years of advising clients on complex disputes and sector-defining transactions”. 

A law graduate of Afe Babalola University, with an LLM in International Dispute Resolution from the University of London, Atilolaoluwa significant experience representing clients on various disputes including commercial litigation, intellectual property actions, land and declaration of title disputes, contractual disputes, matrimonial proceedings, maritime and admiralty disputes, banker-customer relationships, employment and labour-related disputes, recovery of debts, receivership and insolvency, and defamation, amongst others. 

She has also regularly participated in a number of arbitral proceedings pertaining to significant disputes, and has advised on key transactions in the media and entertainment, real estate development, and energy sectors.

The firm also announced the promotion of Olajumoke H. Coker, Melchizedec Anselm, Adekola Thompson, and Halimat Hussain - to Managing Associate, in “well-deserved recognition of their growth, leadership, and contribution to the firm”. 

Olajumoke specializes in intellectual property law, media, and entertainment law, and has obtained a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law and Management. Melchizede is a results-driven legal practitioner with extensive experience in dispute resolution, corporate commercial law, maritime, and business advisory.

Adekola works within ALP NG & Co’s Corporate commercial and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practices, with a particular focus on Technology and Emerging Markets, Halimat is well versed in all aspects of property transactions, from searches, drafting and reviewing of contracts to negotiating deals and resolving disputes.

For each of the quartet promoted from Associate to Managing Associate, ALP NG & Co said this milestone reflects their steady professional development, growing leadership within their respective teams, and the valuable role they play in supporting the firm’s work across its practice areas.
