Ghanaian and Liberian leaders call on counterparts to help turn Africa’s vast mineral wealth into lasting prosperity
The Mining in Motion Summit 2026 is being held in Accra across 19-21 October. Yesterday, President John Dramani Mahama and Liberian Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung Sr called for greater pan-African cooperation to harness growing global demand and secure a greater share of the prosperity generated by Africa’s own resource riches.
