Webber Wentzel Garners Accolades at DealMakers
Webber Wentzel’s market-leading position was re-affirmed at the DealMakers Annual Gala Awards on 23 February 2022 when they won four of the six legal DealMakers awards.
- Legal Adviser of the Year 2021 – M&A – by Deal Value
- Legal Adviser of the Year 2021 – BEE M&A Deals – by Deal Value
- Legal Adviser of the Year 2021 – General Corporate Finance – by Transaction Value
- Legal Adviser of the Year 2021 – General Corporate Finance – by Transaction Flow
They also received second place for Legal Adviser of the Year 2021 – M&A – by Deal Flow.
In addition, Webber Wentzel acted as a legal adviser on the M&A Deal of the Year, Private Equity Deal of the Year, BEE Deal of the Year, and the Business Rescue Transaction of the Year. Webber Wentzel’s Jesse Watson was also one of the four shortlisted nominees for Individual Dealmaker of the Year 2021.
