The firm believes this promotion will continue building their client service and is in response to the way top class legal and professional services are now provided.

"Nurturing and promoting our talent is central to our strategy of providing the best service and putting clients at the centre of everything we do,” commented ALN UAE Managing Partner Atiq Anjarwalla. “Devvrat’s promotion reflects the quality, breadth and depth of talent in our ALN firms and is further evidence of our meritocratic culture.”

Periwal has over ten years’ experience. He regularly advises high net worth individuals and family-owned businesses on succession planning, intergenerational transfer of wealth, international estate and succession planning and corporate governance matters. Periwal also advises corporate entities on all aspects of corporate law, both in the Gulf coast countries and across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Having been ranked in the Chambers and Partners for Private Wealth Law – Kenya (Expertise Based Abroad), 2021 and 2022, Periwal has also been recognised as a Rising Leader by the Private Client Global Elite directory for 2022 and 2023. He is a licensed Legal Consultant in Dubai and an advocate of the High Court of India.

“I look forward to deepening our bespoke private client offering for our clients in relation to local and international wealth and assets,” said Periwal. “Our location in UAE is ideal for advising on complex international and cross-border wealth planning.”
