Since joining the firm in 2012, Alade has had a great impact on client service and the overall growth of the firm. He brings a wealth of knowledge and dynamism into his new role and has led and coordinated numerous projects on behalf of the firm.

In 2020 he led the team that advised borrowers on a major mining project finance transaction in Nigeria. He has also represented leading e-commerce and fintech companies in Africa. In addition, Alade has led firm efforts in advising and structuring compliance and governance protocols for listed clients, and has been active in one of the largest gaming companies globally.

CRWC is a member of TerraLex, an international network made up of 19 000 attorneys in more than 155 leading independent law firms in 100 countries, serving the business interests of clients whose requirements transcend their borders. Alade was appointed Vice Co-chair of the African and Middle East region of TerraLex in 2018, and in 2020 he was appointed as a member of TerraLex’s Board of Directors.

Commenting on his appointment as Managing Partner, Alade said, “My vision is to grow the firm and position it for new challenges. I intend to build on our reputation for quality service and to ensure continued success for the firm, our clients, our lawyers and all our stakeholders.”
