The theme was #BalanceforBetter and, in ǼLEX tradition, encouraged a life of balance in the workplace for all employees.
Part of the event included an interactive forum that coached lawyers and non-legal staff in how to find a work-life balance, plan their careers and grow on a personal level.
Two ǼLEXlawyers – Senior Associate, Ngozi Efobi and Associate, Hannatu Dan-Habu were interviewed live by a TV news channel (Television Continental) where they spoke on the significance of International Women’s Day and what balance means to them. This was a highlight of the day for the whole team.
As part of ǼLEX’s social media campaign, the firm celebrated all its female lawyers and support staff for the seven days leading up to International Women’s Day – illustrating that true diversity exists in an African law firm with an international footprint.
