Sharon Buyanzi promoted to Partner, Values and Culture, at Kenyan firm Mohammed Muigai LLP

New partner Sharon Buyanzi has “demonstrated dedication, excellence, and leadership” over the “remarkable journey” of her legal career, which began as a Legal Intern then Trainee Advocate at Mohammed Muigai LLP more than a decade ago, said the firm, when announcing Sharon’s elevation to the partnership this week.

In recent years, Sharon has been a Senior Associate in the firm’s Banking, Finance and Real Estate Practice Group. She specializes in real estate law, commercial law, financial law, corporate law, transactional law, and estate planning.

The Nairobi-based firm revealed yesterday that Sharon has now been promoted to Partner, Values and Culture at Mohammed Muigai LLP.

In this new capacity, she will champion the firm’s values and culture, and play a key role in safeguarding the principles that define Mohammed Muigai LLP — Mastery, Client Experience, Teamwork, and Integrity. Sharon will also continue to contribute within the firm’s Banking, Finance & Real Estate Transactions Practice Group.

Sharon was admitted to the Kenyan Bar in 2016. She holds an LLB from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (2013), a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (2015), as well as a Diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University (2010). She has been pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Nairobi.
