We are working exclusively with a leading firm in South Africa on an exciting opportunity for E&W qualified front-end construction lawyers.
The firm is positioned at the front of the African legal market and also has a prestigious global reputation.
The Projects team is known for advising on the largest infrastructure developments in sub-Saharan Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone Africa, and is breaking into new markets where activity in this sector is extremely busy.
Within this area, the firm advises on the full range of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects including power plants, transport, and utilities.
To service this burgeoning workflow, the Partners are keen to hire front-end Construction lawyers with experience of commercial EPC and O&M agreements.
As the documents are mostly governed by English law, there is a preference to recruit E&W qualified lawyers and the firm is willing to offer relocation packages to candidates in London or other regions such as the Middle East.
The work requires experienced lawyers and the Partners are keen to hear from candidates who have at least 6 or more years of PQE. They are also happy to consider Partner level candidates, and in all cases they would be looking to match packages so that there is no salary sacrifice to make the move.
