Job Purpose

To provide strategic direction and manage the legal function in the group.  

Job Responsibilities  

Exciting role for a Head of Legal which will be responsible for the strategic direction and management the legal function. In this role you will work closely with the management of each division/business unit in our operations, ensure that the legal function in all our operations provides effective legal support, legal risk management, and, where applicable, company secretarial services to the group. You will also work closely with the Group General Counsel, ensuring that the terms of engagement between legal department and the rest of the group work well in Country.

Job Requirements

B-degree in Law

Admitted attorney or Advocate.

Preferably a Post Graduate diploma or Masters Degree, Corporate or Commercial Law as well as 10 years or more relevant experience as an in-house legal counsel role.
