Our CIB Legal business has an exciting role for a Senior Legal Counsel in our Commercial Property Finance team. In this role you will be a key point of contact on a day-to-day basis for the Commercial Property Finance business team and responsible for providing pro-active legal advice, support, and risk management on transactions both in South Africa as well as our Africa Regional Operations. In this role you will be a part of a team committed to being a center of excellence providing dedicated legal support, working in a model which maximizes synergies between legal teams and business areas to ensure efficiency.

This role is suited to a candidate with a B-degree in Law or LLB, Admitted attorney or Advocate with 5 years or more relevant experience as an in-house legal counsel in a financial institution, other corporate, in a reputable law firm or at the Bar.

Education

Bachelor Honours Degree: Law (Required)
