Our client is a global organisation and a household name.
They now have a new requirement for an ambitious lawyer with extensive compliance experience to join their team in Kenya.
The position will take responsibility for regional compliance, governance, risk and ethics programs and will champion responsible business across multiple geomarkets.
Reporting directly to the legal director the role holder will:
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Program
Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, Legal)
Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organisation are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved, including anti-bribery and corruption issues
Establish procedures and monitor compliance in accordance with local and international industry regulations

Qualified lawyer 5 PQE* and above
At least 3 years applied compliance experience gained in-house for an MNC
Familiar with local legal systems and business practices
Admitted to practice law in a compatible jurisdiction
Familiarity with local and international regulations for the Tech, ICT / Telco industries
