A national insurance company that focusses on specialised insurance solutions is looking to appoint a Senior Legal advisor to the Group. Build and maintain relationships with the relevant regulatory bodies, industry bodies and Ombudsman. Knowledge of the financial sector legislation, tax law, companies law etc. You must be an admitted attorney with at least 5 years experience providing legal advice in the Financial/Insurance sector for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Main job function
Build and maintain relationships with Regulatory bodies, Industry bodies and Ombudsman
Liaise with key stakeholders
Provide legal advice to the Gauteng based group
Draft agreements, related documents, resolutions etc
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong administrative skills
Experience in the insurance industry
Valid drivers license
