MacRobert Inc. Attorneys, based in Pretoria, is urgently seeking an Accounts Clerk.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the correct and timeous processing of the following finance functions:
Allocate incoming funds
Download bank statements, print for admin clerk and keep Excel spread sheet and bank statements up to date
Pull information from deposits to Excel and identify deposits accordingly
Input reference number on excel sheet and divide between identified and unidentified deposits
Send emails to firms for identified and unidentified deposits
Mark direct receipting and unidentified deposits on bank statements
Process receipts of cheques received in post
Request FICA detail on incoming funds when requested
Assist with queries related to deposits
Report cash deposits R25 000.00 and above
Send out weekly reports to all departments for FICA outstanding.
Attend to all queries relating to unidentified deposits where departments are unable to find the funds. Look in excel whether funds were received or not
Marking off all daily deposits slips which the Admin Clerk banks and signing them off on our trust and business statements
Attend to all unidentified deposits if the bank is different from where the funds were deposited. Receipt to the correct file as given by the department
Capturing, reconciling and payment
R5500 - R6500 per month, depending on experience.
